Free Drop-in Programs - Sponsored by Capital Power

The Tumbler Ridge Museum is offering FREE STEAM focused drop-in programs beginning this month!
- Pre-registration is required in person or by phone at 250-242-DINO (3466). This is to ensure all social distancing and enhanced cleaning measures can be maintained.
- Participants must be accompanied by a guardian(16+) and must be supervised at all times.
- All Public Health Orders must be followed. Orders may be updated from time to time. Please check our COVID-19 operations page for details.
- Programs are age specific, please register for your age group!


March 13: Prehistoric Play-Dough Challenge
                  - In-person or virtual entries will be accepted (post to Facebook page, private message, or email to                    gallery@trmf.ca)
                  - Play-dough will be provided for registered participants and at the request of pick-up option.
                  - Prehistoric animals are not limited to dinosaurs – get creative!
                  - Prizes will be awarded to 1 participant in each of the age groups; 5-7, 8-10, 11-14, 15-16. Winners will be                    announced/contacted on March 14th.

March 20-22: Paper Mache Dinosaurs
                  How do scientists determine what dinosaurs looked like millions of years ago?
                  *Will be a messy project, dress appropriately each day!

March 26-27: Fossils & Impressions with Salt Dough
                 - How are fossils made?
                  - How are they preserved?
                  Day 1: Create fossils and impressions (leave to bake)
                  Day 2: Paint & take home
