We know winter is coming, but we're trying not to think about it... Join us for one last summer party on Saturday, November 4th at 7 PM.
The Museum is fundraising for upgrades to our education room. Although we really appreciate ancient things around here, our 1980s era classroom could use some modernization. A coat of paint, new cupboards (with doors that close... and open), a smart board to enhance program delivery and connect with schools too far away for an onsite visit, and other learning tools.
Silent auction, games and prizes, food, and cash bar. Tickets are $30 available at the museum or through the Tumbler Ridge Arts Council website (just scan the QR code on the poster below). This is a 19+ event.
We can't wait to party with you!
The Tumbler Ridge Museum is seeking a creative agency to develop a digital exhibition on the palaeontology, geology, biodiversity, and cultural heritage of Tumbler Ridge.
On Saturday, October 15th we will be going to the polls to vote in our municipal elections, we will also be asked to vote on the future of the Museum and Geopark.
A recently published article in Historical Biology features the first detailed track and trace-fossil evidence of very large crocodiles from a number of sites north of Tumbler Ridge.
