Summer 2024 Youth Employment

The Tumbler Ridge Museum is now accepting applications for summer employment opportunities.

Are you a high school student on the hunt for your first job? Or a post secondary student looking for practical experiences to build your resume? Spend the summer with us in beautiful Tumbler Ridge!

We are now accepting applications for the following seasonal positions:

Gallery Interpreter: You will be the first line of inquiry and communication in greeting guests, processing admission and gift shop payments, delivering gallery tours, and assisting in several other areas of museum visitor services. Tour Guide: Are you looking for a position where you can spend the summer outside? You will use your enthusiasm for wilderness adventure by leading small groups on short hikes to walk in the footprints of dinosaurs. Collections Assistant: You have decided on a career in palaeontology and/or museums and want to learn new skills. You will have the opportunity to assist in helping organize our extensive fossil collection, and keep an eye out for your next research project. Read full job description here.
